Beschreibung: This unique capper was used for fastening iron closures onto barrel bungs, commonly employed in the past when handling liquids in wooden barrels. The combination of a wooden handle and a solid metal mechanism ensured precise and firm attachment of the closures, often marked with symbols or inscriptions to identify the barrel's contents. This capper is a great addition for collectors of winemaking or brewing antiques or industrial artifacts. Also suitable as a stylish decorative element for lovers of historical craftsmanship.
