The box is made of solid wood with a simple and robust design, typical of the period. Inside, there is a musical mechanism with a wooden cylinder fitted with metal pins and a comb, which create melodies as the cylinder turns. A label titled “NOMS DES AIRS” lists eight tunes that the music box plays, including: Valse de Rigolette La petite Chasse Fanfan la Tulipe Air de Chasse Le Chaperon Rouge Le Canarie Vert Chez Dumoulet Ronde de Table The detailed craftsmanship of the mechanism and the well-preserved list of tunes make this music box a unique collector's item. The box is not only a historical artifact but also a testament to precise craftsmanship. Ideal for collectors of antique musical instruments or decorative items with a story.
