Beschreibung: A decorative wooden box with black lacquer and a lid adorned with a detailed painting in the style of Japanese art — figures in traditional attire amidst a garden scene. Inside the lid, the original French label of the "Bleu Saphir" product by E. Boilley, awarded at the Paris World's Fair in 1878, is preserved. The box likely served to store blue laundry powder. An elegant and collectible piece, suitable for a collection of historical packaging or as a decorative accessory.
