Beschreibung: Decorative faience plate from the Faïencerie de Longchamp factory (France). A plastically shaped "frame" with rocaille motifs surrounds a hand-painted scene of a countrywoman carrying a jug in a landscape. The glossy glaze with fine crazing adds a pleasant patina. On the reverse, impressed Longchamp marks and production markings. A nice collector's item – intended for wall hanging or display in a showcase. Good condition, minor signs of age and use.
