Beschreibung: An old two-part stoneware baking mold for an Easter lamb, glazed brown on the inside. Both halves feature a sculptural relief of a reclining lamb and have holes along the perimeter for joining the mold. Also included is the original metal spring clip that holds the two parts firmly together during baking. The mold is suitable for baking a traditional Easter lamb, but thanks to its distinctive rustic appearance, it also serves as a decoration for a country or cottage kitchen. Both the ceramic and the metal clip show natural signs of age and use; the metal has a prominent patina.
