Beschreibung: Historic spa cup made of clear glass with a handle, richly decorated with engraved and gilded motifs. On various sides, significant spa buildings and springs of Mariánské Lázně, then referred to in German as Marienbad, are depicted. The decor also includes the inscription "Andenken von Marienbad" – "Souvenir of Mariánské Lázně". Similar spa glass featuring local springs and buildings was produced especially in the mid-19th century. The cup is decorated with fine cutting, engraved architecture, and gilded floral ornament. The depictions show names of spa locations, including Kreuzbrunn – Cross Spring. Similar Mariánské Lázně cups are also documented with motifs of Ferdinand's Spring and other significant places in the spa area. The gilding is significantly worn in places, and the glass shows signs of age and use. An interesting collector's item connected with the history of Mariánské Lázně and 19th-century spa glass.
