Beschreibung: This cylindrical decorative glass is made of clear glass and adorned with ruby glaze technique featuring finely ground motifs. A central medallion depicting a lyre and complementary floral decorations with grapevines refer to the traditional Biedermeier style and 19th-century elegance. Unfortunately, the glass is significantly damaged by a crack that runs through the bottom part and extends into the leaf decor (see detailed photo), which is reflected in the price. Despite this damage, the item remains an interesting study example of period glassmaking craftsmanship or a visually striking addition to a collection of historical glass.
