Beschreibung: This industrial wire-wound rheostat was manufactured by the national enterprise Metra Blansko, as evidenced by the original metal plate with all technical parameters. The device bears serial number 2319704, A 5.5, and has a resistance of 11 Ω. The unit is housed in a black lacquered perforated metal casing, which protects the internal winding. Resistance is continuously regulated by a sliding contact with a white ceramic insulator, while two side screw terminals provide connection to the electrical circuit. The item exhibits an authentic patina and signs of use, including minor surface corrosion, consistent with its age and original technical purpose. It is a well-preserved example of Czechoslovak measuring technology, suitable for collectors of historical electrical engineering or as a stylish element of industrial design.
