The artist precisely captured the typical features of the breed, especially the rich texture of its long fur and characteristic stance, while the use of a warm wood tone with a subtle patina adds vitality to the figurine. Given the high level of craftsmanship, it is likely a collectible decoration from the first half of the 20th century, which will delight lovers of canine motifs and small artistic carvings.
