Beschreibung: This complete set of English semi-porcelain from the renowned Spode (Copeland) manufactory presents a luxurious example of blue copperplate printing with oriental motifs, dominated by a central scene of a vase in a garden. The set includes a prominent footed centrepiece and six dessert plates with a gently wavy rim, all pieces bearing the authentic blue marking „Kew“ Spode Copeland England and impressed marks on the underside. Thanks to the high quality of craftsmanship and the presence of the rarer serving centrepiece, this is an aesthetically and collectibly valuable set from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Plate diameter 19 cm.
