Beschreibung: A porcelain vase from the German manufacture Porzellanmanufaktur Wallendorf, decorated with a striking red dragon motif executed in a combination of red color and gold relief. The decor is hand-painted ("Goldrelief handgemalt") and creates a sculptural effect with subtly highlighted scales and dragon body lines. The vase has a simple, elegant shape with a narrow neck and a white glossy glaze that allows the decor to stand out. On the underside is a mark with a crown, the letter W, and the number 1764, complemented by the inscription "Made in GDR," indicating production during the period of the German Democratic Republic in the second half of the 20th century. A decorative piece suitable as a standalone vase or for porcelain collectors.
