Beschreibung: A charming Art Nouveau set consisting of a decorative vase and a jardinière, produced by the renowned French manufacture Fives-Lille under the direction of Gustave De Bruyn. The ceramics feature an elegant color transition from dark forest green to soft ochre, highlighting the rich sculptural decor with a motif of blossoming apple trees or wild roses. The flowers are hand-colored in delicate pink shades, and the entire composition bears typical Art Nouveau organic forms. On the underside, both pieces are marked with the impressed manufacture logo (an anchor with the initials DB) and model number 4620. This set is an excellent example of French "Art Nouveau" and, thanks to its high aesthetic value and preserved condition, represents a valuable piece for collectors of European majolica. Vase dimensions: height 32 cm, diameter 15 cm. Planter dimensions: height 15 cm, 15 x 35 cm.
