Beschreibung: This 19th-century apothecary jar is a prime example of historical pharmaceutical equipment made of faience with traditional cobalt blue decor. The central inscription "O. VERMIFUGE" indicates that the jar originally served to store anti-parasitic oils, while its surface is adorned with rich hand-painting featuring cartouches, floral tendrils, and stylized putti. The elegant baluster shape on a stable foot is complemented by its original profiled lid, and the surface exhibits fine glaze crazing.
