Beschreibung: This mantel or table clock captivates with its stepped architectural construction made of black material (likely marble or slate) combined with a light, veined marble slab. The body is decorated with delicate, engraved floral and geometric ornaments with traces of original gilding, and topped with a decorative baluster finial. The round dial with Arabic numerals and an ornamental central motif is framed by a solid, plastically decorated brass bezel with glass. The clock is in as-found condition with obvious signs of age and wear; one of the hands is missing, and the functionality of the mechanism has not been tested.
