Beschreibung: This charming antique teardrop-shaped vase represents an elegant example of European art pottery from the Art Deco period (circa 1930s). The cream-white body of the vase is covered with a distinctive all-over craquelure (a fine network of hairline cracks in the glaze), which gives the item its prized historical character. The front side is adorned with a stylized hand-painted floral motif in a combination of brick red, gold, and black, with some leaf details featuring a subtle geometric pattern. On the underside of the vase, there is a handwritten model designation "105", the country of origin "FRANCE", and an original artist's mark or signature in reddish-brown.
