Beschreibung: A massive studio-formed vase designed by Josef HOSPODKA for the Chřibská glassworks. The vase has a distinctive organic shape with plastically modeled folds and an effective combination of dark green and delicate pink glass, which blends into wavy color transitions within the clear glass mass. The thick-walled construction creates striking optical effects and a sculptural character typical of Czechoslovak studio glass from the second half of the 20th century. There are minor chips on the bottom and the surface of the vase is scratched in places. Condition consistent with age and use. Suitable as a collector's item or a striking standalone decoration.
