Beschreibung: A massive art glass ashtray designed by Josef HOSPODKA. Made in a striking green-yellow hue with clear transitions, a thick-walled base, and a hand-shaped wavy rim. The sculptural indentations in the rim serve as cigarette rests and simultaneously create a prominent decorative effect typical of Czechoslovak art glass from the second half of the 20th century. Condition corresponds to age and use, with minor surface abrasions and common manufacturing irregularities in places.
