Decorative metal bowl on a pedestal in Art Deco style, likely from the first half of the 20th century. The wide, shallowly curved bowl with an elegantly flared rim is decorated with stylized floral and geometric motifs. The richly ornamented surface contrasts with smooth metal parts. The bowl is set on a conical wooden leg ending in a circular metal base. Two embossed marks are preserved on the underside, their origin undetermined. An interesting example of decorative applied art in the spirit of interwar Art Deco. The surface bears natural patina, oxidation, minor scratches, and signs of age and use.
