The water visually merges with the horizon under a veiled sky. The work is executed in oil on canvas. The signature is located in the lower right corner of the painting. The painting style is inspired by Czech landscape realism and impressionism of the late 19th and first half of the 20th century, typical of the Mařák school. The work focuses on capturing the mood and atmosphere in nature, the play of light in the tree crowns, and the tranquility by the water.
