Beschreibung: A MEVA brand metal barrel, designed for liquid storage, is mounted on a sturdy metal stand. The barrel's surface is covered with its original green paint, which shows extensive cracking and partial peeling, revealing the underlying material. The cylindrical body of the barrel is reinforced with metal hoops. An integrated drain tap is located on one front side of the barrel, allowing for controlled emptying of its contents. A closable filling opening is positioned on the top. The MEVA brand is visible on the front side. Meva is a traditional Czech manufacturer with a history dating back to 1898. The acronym MEVA originated as a Czechized form of the original designation (likely from the German 'Metallwaren' – metal goods), and its logo has been used in this form since 1921. This company historically became famous for producing metal barrels, dustbins, containers, and a wide range of household goods, making barrels with this brand a relatively common find in our territory. This MEVA barrel served practical purposes in agriculture, industry, or households for collecting rainwater, storing oil, or other liquids. Its construction with a stand facilitates handling and use in the garden, workshop, or as part of an industrial interior or exterior.
