Beschreibung: The painting captures a tranquil landscape with a river in the foreground, its surface reflecting the surrounding trees and sky. On the opposite bank, there is a sandy area with a small house hidden among the trees and a simple wooden slide leading into the water, suggesting the place is used for recreation. The color palette combines shades of green, blue, and yellow with a hint of purple in the sky, creating the atmosphere of late afternoon or dusk. The painting is matted and set in an older wooden frame with visible signs of wear, such as abrasions and loss of original varnish. Overall, it is a pleasant landscape scene emphasizing the water's reflection and the calm atmosphere of a rural environment. Description: tempera, signed lower left (R.Petit), frame slightly damaged, glazed
