Beschreibung: Framed papal decree in Latin, dated 1911 (MCMXI), issued by Pope Pius X. The document is executed on parchment, mounted under glass in a wooden frame with an inlaid line; the frame bears signs of age, minor damage, and patina. The paper shows yellowing and stains in places consistent with its age; both the text and seal are legible. The back cover is original, damaged in places, with metal eyelets for hanging. Brief translation of the main text: The text is addressed to a “beloved son” (Dilecte fili) and grants apostolic blessing. The document confirms admission to the Order of Saint Gregory the Great (Ordinis Sancti Gregorii Magni) and expresses recognition of merits, virtues, and faithful service to the Church. It mentions the granting of rank and associated rights and concludes with the dating in Rome, at St. Peter's, with the papal seal and signature.
