The work is executed in pastel on paper; the technique is evident from the soft drawing and layering of colored areas. In the lower right corner is the signature Kříž Karel with the dating “69”; the author is not definitively identifiable. The painting is mounted, glazed, with a mat, and set in a period frame. The condition of the painting is good, the mat shows slight signs of age, the frame has minor wear in places consistent with use and age. The dating is based on the signature on the front of the work.
