Beschreibung: A colored graphic featuring a figural motif of an elderly woman – a market vendor, dressed in traditional attire, holding a basket of fish and a bag, set against an urban backdrop. The composition employs delicate drawing and subdued pastel colors, typical of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with an emphasis on social themes and everyday life. The technique corresponds to period colored graphics (likely lithography), the author is not explicitly stated on the work. In the lower part of the graphic, faint, difficult-to-read marks or notes are visible, without clear identification of the author or dating. The work is mounted under glass, with a prominent passe-partout and in a wooden frame. The condition of the graphic is commensurate with its age – stains, paper darkening, and localized dirt are visible; the frame shows signs of wear and age, the reverse is covered with cardboard retaining original mounting elements. Suitable as an authentic example of socially themed graphics from the late 19th to early 20th century.
