This text indicates the 172nd copy out of a total edition of 200 pieces and the title of the work 'Overcast Day'. The etching is mounted in a passe-partout, which shows extensive yellowing and moisture stains. The composition is set in a wooden frame with a gilded finish. The surface of the frame shows minor abrasions and local losses of gilding. The back of the frame is fitted with its original paper backing, which is damaged and shows signs of moisture.
