Beschreibung: A salon painting depicting a forest landscape with a watercourse winding over stones and creating small rapids. On the left side of the composition, a stone staircase ascending a wooded slope is visible. The scene is bordered by trees with sparse foliage, suggesting late autumn or early spring. Green tones of grass and coniferous trees contrast with the grayish sky and blue shades of the water. The work is executed in oil on canvas. The signature is placed in the lower right of the painting, in written form. The creation of the work dates back to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The painting is intact. The painting is set in a gilded wooden frame with rich ornamental decoration, including floral motifs and geometric patterns. The frame shows a slight patina and minor abrasions.
