Beschreibung: Wooden shipping crate with prominent printing on the front and side. On one side of the crate, the text “Rech. No: 124/70 Ord. No: 7079” is rendered in black letters, followed by “ZIEGLER u. CO”, then “HERBESTAL / BELGIEN”, and the numerical designation “07782 / 22 / 3” with dimensions “95 x 60 x 48”. A partial inscription “DROSOPHILA C...” and “HERBESTAL” is visible on the shorter side. The wooden construction with visible joints and planks served for transporting and storing goods. Currently, it finds use as a practical storage box, an original decoration for industrial or rustic style interiors, or as an unconventional display element. The crate originates from Herbestal, Belgium, as indicated by the text. It is a suitable addition to a home, shop, or collection of historical packaging.
