Beschreibung: A black and white photograph capturing a portrait of a couple, likely a wedding portrait, in a period style. The image is housed in a wooden frame with a gilded finish and an ornamental pattern. In the lower right corner of the photograph is the signature "FOTO Bartoníček ROUDNICE n. L.", which identifies the photographer and the location. The photograph shows minor stains on the paper and slight yellowing. The frame has abrasions on the gilded layer and surface imperfections. On the back of the frame, there is a stamp with the text "KUCHYŇSKÉ NÁDOBÍ KAMNA A SKLENÁŘSTVÍ JOSEF PROUDA ROUDNICE n. L." (KITCHENWARE STOVES AND GLASSWARE JOSEF PROUDA ROUDNICE n. L.). This stamp provides information about the original seller of the frame or the shop where the item was purchased. Josef Prouda's shop in Roudnice nad Labem offered kitchenware, stoves, and glassware, indicating the original sales context of the frame. Such stamps are valuable for determining the history and origin of a work, aiding in the documentation and tracking of item provenance.
