Beschreibung: A FROWO No. 435 MARINE storm lantern, manufactured by the German company Fröhlich & Wolter (FROWO) in Beierfeld, Saxony. This lamp, dating approximately to the 1920s-1930s, is specifically the FROWO No. 435 Marine model, or a very closely related type No. 420. The fuel tank bears the embossed inscription MARINE. The MARINE designation refers to its original purpose for use in shipping, ports, or demanding coastal environments. The lamp's construction features a robust design, stronger wire glass protectors, and increased resistance to strong winds and corrosion caused by saltwater. The electrical wiring is original – we recommend checking it before use.
