Beschreibung: The painting depicts a bouquet of sunflowers placed in a brown ceramic vase. The background is rendered in gray tones, which adds depth to the composition and highlights the central motif of the sunflowers. The work is executed using the oil on canvas technique, with prominent brushstrokes and textural application of paint visible, especially on the sunflower blossoms. The color palette focuses on warm yellow and brown shades of the sunflowers, complemented by green tones of the leaves and earthy tones of the vase. The painting is signed in the lower right corner with the initial M. and dated 1961. The paint on the canvas shows minor cracks in the paintwork, especially in the thicker layers of paint on the flowers. It is set in a wooden frame with a gilded finish. The frame has abrasions and some loss of gilding, particularly on the outer and inner edges. The back of the painting is covered with adhesive tape.
