Beschreibung: A graphic print by the Czech painter, illustrator, and caricaturist Otakar Štěmbera (1914–1999). The work depicts a humorously conceived figure of a traveler, characteristic of the artist's lifelong oeuvre. The traveler is shown smiling, with a stick, a backpack, and bare feet, walking through a landscape with a butterfly, plants, and beetles. Signed in the lower right with the monogram ŠT and the year '47. Otakar Štěmbera was a co-founder of the satirical magazine Dikobraz. The print is mounted in a passe-partout and a wooden frame. The frame shows surface wear. The passe-partout is slightly yellowed. The graphic print itself has preserved colors and details.
