Beschreibung: Pencil drawing on paper depicting a flock of water birds, likely herons or cranes, in a vast wetland landscape. The composition details the birds in their natural environment; some wading in the water, others standing on the bank, and one bird shown in flight above the water surface. The work is signed in the lower right corner with a black pencil '46', referring to the artist and the year of creation, 1946. This work is an example of post-war art focusing on fauna and landscape. The paper exhibits a natural patina and slight yellowing due to age. The drawing is set in a wooden frame with a brown glaze, which shows minor surface wear.
