Description: This exceptional and collectible plate was made in 1918 in the workshop of Alois Jaroňek from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The reverse side of the plate states that the motif is based on the fairy tale "The Tale of Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf" by the famous Russian illustrator Ivan Bilibin. The rich and detailed ornamental decoration, along with the central fairy tale motif, reflects Bilibin's characteristic style and Alois Jaroňek's skill.
