Description: French bowl by the Gallia brand, produced by Manufacture de l'Alfénide/Christofle from the period around 1908 to 1929. The bowl is made of base metal and features two embossed marks on the underside: The Manufacture de l'Alfénide mark for silver-plating, which depicts a goat's head (tête de bouc) placed within a rhombus inside a hatched rectangle. A mark resembling a coat of arms with a Gallic rooster inside, accompanied by the inscription ORFÈVRERIE GALLIA. Model number 4294 is also stated. The bowl is decorated with delicate relief floral motifs characteristic of ART DECO.
