Description: Commemorative medal in relief with the portrait of a German anti-fascist activist, housed in a red velvet case. The front side of the medal bears the inscription "Die Toten Mahnen - Nie Wieder Faschismus" (translated as "The Dead Warn - Never Again Fascism"), expressing a legacy to the victims of the Nazi regime and a call to reject fascism. The reverse side of the medal carries text identifying the Kuratorium für den Aufbau nationaler Gedenkstätten – an organization responsible for building national memorials in the concentration camps of Buchenwald, Sachsenhausen, and Ravensbrück. This medal is made of white plaster and is housed in its original red velvet case, making it a rare collector's item and a symbol of a significant historical era.
