Description: Porcelain container with a lid, decorated with a distinct blue and white floral pattern. The underside bears the mark "ACTIVITÉ H. CAPPELLEMANS AINÉ JEMMAPES", referring to the Belgian manufactory in Jemmapes, active in the 19th century. The surface is adorned with transfer print, typical for production of that era inspired by oriental ceramics. The container shows signs of age – visible chipping on the lid and small cracks in the glaze. An interesting collector's piece illustrating 19th-century Belgian ceramic production.
