Description: This delicate decorative basket is a representative example of gift porcelain produced by the renowned North Bohemian company Ditmar Urbach. The item is made of high-quality white porcelain mass and stands out with its combination of sky-blue underglaze with expressive, hand-painted floral decor. These vibrant colors (especially purple and rusty orange) combined with the stylized shape are absolutely characteristic of Teplice production of the 1930s and are highly sought after by collectors. The impressed model number 11063 is visible on the bottom of the basket, which was a standard marking method in this porcelain factory before the application of the final glaze. Although the company was also known for sanitary ceramics, this miniature demonstrates the high artistic level of their artistic division, which managed to infuse contemporary modernism into small utilitarian objects.
