A massive ashtray made from studio-shaped glass, designed by the prominent Czech glass artist Pavel Hlava, known as “Mozek” (Brain). This distinctive piece combines rich amber-yellow glass with irregular dark brown spots fused into the material, creating a characteristic organic decor.
The thick-walled, heavy form and irregular modeling are consistent with the aesthetics of Czechoslovak studio glass from the second half of the 20th century. The ashtray functions both as a striking decorative object and is particularly interesting for collectors of Czech art glass. Condition is commensurate with age and use.
