The lid features a prominent circular relief with botanical motifs and a central monogram, while the sides are decorated with a repeating motif of escutcheons and ornamental elements. The interior is gilded. The box likely served to store small personal items, jewelry, powder, or other toiletries. The surface bears a significant patina, scuffs, and common signs of age and use; the gilding is worn in places inside. Suitable as a collector's item, decoration, or film prop.
