Description: This platter from the Dutch production of the renowned Société Céramique Maestricht factory is a beautiful example of historical transfer-printed decor in cobalt blue. The central motif, named "Potiche," depicts a stylized oriental vase surrounded by traditional symbols and flowers, while the richly decorated rim combines geometric patterns with floral ornaments and ribbons. The reverse side bears an authentic blue stamp with the lion logo and the decor's name, accompanied by subtle glaze crazing, confirming the piece's considerable age and authenticity. Despite its historical patina, the plate is in very well-preserved condition, and thanks to its timeless blue-and-white design, it will stand out as a wall decoration, in a rustic sideboard, or as part of a collection of classic European ceramics.
