Description: This magnificent decorative bowl with handles is a masterful example of handiwork from the renowned Belgian workshop Les Étains des Potstainiers Hutois, famous for its tradition of pewter craftsmanship in the city of Huy. The central motif of the bowl features a delicate relief of blooming daisies and a fluttering butterfly, complemented by an elegantly shaped wavy rim in Art Nouveau style. The original label on the underside confirms a 94% pure pewter content (lead-free) and traditional handcrafting („fabriqué à la main“), while the quality hallmark „ETAIN FIN“ along with the workshop's logo is also stamped directly into the metal on the bowl's handle. The item is in excellent condition with a subtle patina that underscores its antique character, making it an ideal choice for collectors of quality European pewter or as a tasteful interior accent.
