Description: This elegant antique flowerpot, or jardiniere, immediately captivates with its deep, rich cobalt glaze, which provides a perfect contrast to the delicate hand-gilding. The oval body of the vessel is adorned with intricately detailed natural motifs depicting birds and bamboo shoots, referencing the period's fondness for oriental aesthetics and Art Nouveau influences. The jardiniere rests on a low foot and is finished with a delicate gold line on the upper edge, adding to its grandeur.
