Description: This massive metal part is cast from bronze (or possibly patinated brass) and served as both a decorative and functional component of a historical light fixture. The upper part consists of a detailed bird figurine with outstretched wings, mounted on a turned column. The lower part forms a wide base with eight points, which could have served as a display surface or part of a mounting. The item is disassemblable (connected by a thread) and bears an authentic dark patina indicating its age.
