Description: This set of three historic cast-iron rollers represents unique technical equipment from an old framing workshop, where these tools were used for mechanically pressing or milling decorative reliefs onto picture frame moldings. All three rollers have an identical diameter of 14 cm and a central bore with a keyway for a machine shaft, differing in their heights of 10 cm, 6 cm, and 5 cm. Each piece bears a different, deeply embossed ornamental pattern – from rich floral Baroque decor to delicate Art Nouveau lines and a laurel motif. The massive cast iron has an authentic dark patina with slight surface corrosion, which does not detract from the legibility of the patterns. The set is an excellent collector's artifact for those interested in craft history, a great addition for restorer's, or an original decoration for an industrially themed interior.
