Description: This rare historical instrument represents honest German violin making from the era of early Romanticism. Its exceptional quality is confirmed by the master's handwritten inscription on the inner plate: "Erbaut am 27. 3. 1835 / P. Glöde, Stettin", which precisely dates the violin's creation to Stettin in 1835. The instrument excels with a high level of craftsmanship – the top plate is made of dense resonant spruce, while the back plate consists of two pieces of masterfully joined maple with pronounced deep flaming. The rich, warm reddish-brown varnish bears a natural patina, giving the instrument a desirable antique appearance. Its long history is evidenced by the professional extension of the neck from its original Baroque proportions and precise internal reinforcement of the resonant wood (known as 'vajíčko' or 'egg'), confirming that the instrument was highly valued by previous owners. The violin is free of fatal cracks on the plates, exhibits a sound construction, and represents a unique opportunity for collectors of historical rarities as well as musicians seeking a well-played tone from the first half of the 19th century.
