Description: The YALACTA yogurt maker is made of bakelite. This period appliance for preparing homemade yogurt consists of an outer bakelite casing, an inner aluminum lid, and a set of ceramic containers. The outer casing has a marbled pattern in a dark brown shade. The aluminum lid features an embossed inscription YALACTA. Bakelite was valued in its time for its strength and insulating properties, which are suitable for the yogurt-making process. The individual ceramic cups were used for individual milk fermentation.
