Description: This set of historical fragments originates from luxurious oriental armor, likely from an Indo-Persian shishak-type helmet (khula khud), or possibly from Ottoman equipment of the 18th–19th century. The individual parts are made of steel and adorned with the gold damascening (koftgari) technique, where pure gold is hammered into the metal surface. Rich floral arabesques and ornamental motifs are very well preserved on most of the decorated parts. The set includes a pressure thumb screw with a zoomorphic head and an organic material bead, two nasal guards of different designs, a profiled strip likely serving as a plume holder, and an undecorated mounting wedge with an embossed craftsman's mark. The items are in authentic found condition with original patina, with some surface corrosion corresponding to their age, without modern interventions. The set is suitable as a collector's exhibit of oriental militaria or as a source of original parts for professional restoration of historical helmets.
