Description: A Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheel consisting of a rotating cylindrical casing on a long handle. The body is decorated with bone segments featuring geometric motifs, engraved metal collars, and small decorative elements. A chain with an oval weight is attached to the cylinder, which, with wrist movement, helps to spin the wheel and maintain its smooth rotation. Inside these prayer wheels, a scroll with repeatedly written or printed Buddhist mantras, most commonly 'Om mani padme hum', is usually stored. By turning the wheel clockwise, believers symbolically multiply the recitation of the stored mantras. The item originates from the Tibetan cultural environment, or possibly from one of the adjacent Himalayan regions. The surface shows signs of use, patina, localized corrosion, and decor wear.
