Description: Antique ceramic soup tureen with lid, likely Czech manufacture from the first half of the 19th century. Elegant Neoclassical shape with a deep rounded body on a raised circular base, two sculpturally shaped handles, and a distinctly domed lid with a decorative finial. The white glazed surface is adorned with a delicate hand-painted botanical decor of green leaves and reddish-brown twigs, complemented by thin circumferential lines. Its execution is consistent with contemporary Czech ceramic production, with possible origins in a Prague stoneware manufactory or Klášterec nad Ohří. The exact manufacturer is not documented, and it is not marked anywhere. Preserved condition with signs of age and use, including minor chips in places, and wear to the glaze and paint.
