Description: Oil painting on cardboard with a mountain landscape motif, featuring a wooden cottage in the foreground and majestic mountain peaks in the background. The work is signed "M. Peterka" in the bottom right. The artist is Milan Peterka (1930–2005), a South Bohemian artist born in Chelčice, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava (1950–1955). In his work, he focused on figural motifs, portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, often depicting the Czech countryside with figures of fishermen or farmers. He is represented in the collections of the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery and also engaged in applied arts – creating stained glass, mosaics, and tapestries. The painting is set in a passe-partout and a light frame with minor signs of age, with a dedication from 1974 on the back.
